Pine River Update 8/7/25
The Pine River still has blockages from Hwy SR/80 to Bowens Mill/Hwy AA. We are working to clear them and hope to have this section open very soon!! We believe only 2 spots remain to clear. The first is a VERY large tree that is difficult to port around. Traveling this section is NOT recommended at this time. These blockages are marked in PURPLE on the map.
One large tree remains across the river behind the soccer field by North Park. When water levels are low enough, you can pass under this tree. If the water is higher, you may need to portage around. There is a low bank on the left side that makes exit and re-entry to the river pretty easy. This blockage is marked in ORANGE on the map.
